Ingredients
Method
- Blend the yogurt and banana until completely smooth.
- Mash a small handful of the blueberries to release their color, then fold all the blueberries into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray set on a baking sheet.
- Optional: stand a small dog biscuit upright in each mold as a "stick."
- Freeze for 4–6 hours, until solid all the way through.
- Pop out of the molds and serve straight from the freezer, supervised.
Notes
Yield: about 12–16 small pupsicles, depending on mold size.
ALWAYS check your yogurt label: xylitol (birch sugar) and artificial sweeteners are dangerous for dogs. Plain, unsweetened yogurt only.
Some dogs are lactose-sensitive — start with a small taste if yogurt is new to your dog.
Storage: freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag, up to 2 months.
Estimated 15–25 kcal per small pupsicle; treats should stay under ~10% of daily calories.
Serve outside or on an easy-clean floor — blueberries can stain carpets and light fur.
